ReplyDeleteAssallam aleikum, I went to school in Karachi many many years ago, and a girl in my class was called elisha benjamin. She was a jewess who migrated to Israel. Also in Lahore there was a goldsmith called Reuben. His shop was located on the mall road. None of these people appeared afraid or hid their identity in any way. I suppose now they all speak urdu and would be undistinguishable from the rest of the population.
